This seems like an interesting way to gain immortality... or atleast something similar. Yahoo is collecting photos and interesting stories and projecting them into space using a laser beam. Hmm, will that work? Perhaps. Still, it seems like a pretty interesting project, even if there's not a change in Pluto that any civilization out there would ever notice it.
